1. Who we are

Golden Ticket (the "Site") is operated by Golden Ticket Group Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales, based in Manchester, United Kingdom ("we", "us", "our"). Contact: support@goldenticket.example.

2. Nature of the competitions

Our competitions are "prize competitions" under the Gambling Act 2005 (UK). They are not lotteries and do not require a Gambling Commission licence because (a) success depends materially on the skill/judgement of the entrant (see the skill question at entry) and (b) a free entry route is available (see Section 7).

3. Eligibility

• You must be aged 18 or over.
• You must be legally resident in the United Kingdom.
• Employees of Golden Ticket Group Ltd and their immediate families may not enter.
• We may verify age and identity before releasing a prize.

4. Entering

To enter you must (i) answer the skill question correctly, (ii) confirm you are 18+ and UK-resident, and (iii) either purchase one or more tickets or enter via the free postal route.

Each ticket has a unique number recorded against your account. Ticket numbers are allocated sequentially in the order entries are received.

5. The draw

Winners are selected at random from all valid entries once the competition closes (either at the published closing time or when the maximum ticket count is reached, whichever is sooner). Draws are recorded and the winning ticket number is published on the Site.

6. Minimum ticket sales and draw arrangements

Each competition requires at least 60% of its available tickets to be sold by the scheduled closing date for the draw to go ahead on that date.

If fewer than 60% of the tickets have been sold by the scheduled closing date, we reserve the right either to (a) extend the closing date and ticket sale period for a reasonable time, or (b) cancel the draw and issue a full refund to all paid entrants. We will notify affected entrants by email before exercising this right. If a competition is cancelled under this clause, all paid entries will be refunded in full to the original payment method.

7. Free postal entry

You may enter any competition free of charge by post. See our Free Postal Entry page for the address and required details. Postal entries carry the same chance of winning as paid entries.

8. Prizes

The prize is as described on the competition page. We reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value where the advertised prize becomes unavailable. Prizes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative unless stated.

9. Claiming a prize

We will contact the winner within 7 days of the draw using the email address on their account. Winners must respond within 30 days to claim. Unclaimed prizes may be re-drawn.

10. Cancellation & refunds

If a competition is cancelled before the draw, all paid entries will be refunded in full to the original payment method. Once a valid entry has been placed and the competition proceeds, entries are non-refundable.

11. Fair play & abuse

We may cancel entries, close accounts and withhold prizes if we reasonably suspect fraud, multiple accounts, bots, chargebacks or any other abuse.

12. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Otherwise our liability to you is limited to the total amount you have paid to enter the competition in question.

13. Data protection

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

15. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one displayed on the Site at the time of your entry.
